Whoop Whoop De Do – “Dom”

WHOOP WHOOP DE DO

Whoop Whoop De Do, aka Dominic, is owned by both Jessica and Susan Massaro and is a 17 hand 2013 OTTB gelding. Jessica found Dominic through Jessica Redman of Benchmark Sporthorses in Delaware. He arrived in the summer of 2016 as a very leggy and rangy 3 year old, so Jessica turned him out to be a horse and grow into his body. In January of 2017, Jessica entered Dom into the Retired Racehorse Project’s Thoroughbred Makeover Competition. She had 10 months to get Dom ready to perform at the KY Horse Park in Eventing. Dom has a huge heart, a very sweet personality, and tons of athleticism. He is one of those horses that improves every single ride. He is a joy to ride and be around. 2017 had him going from fresh out of the field through doing his first few recognized Novice HT’s. Jessica plans to spend the winter getting him stronger, so that they can come out swinging in 2018. This guy is definitely the real deal, and Jessica is very thankful to Susan for being involved with this horse with her.
