PINE ISLAND GIRL
Pine Island Girl, aka Ellie Mae, came to Jessica as a 5 year old OTTB. Jessica was then starting her own breeding program and was standing a lovely Hanoverian stallion, Fuerst Rendition. Ellie was strictly gotten to have babies. In June of 2013, she gave birth to a leggy filly, Island Rendition aka Twiggy.
When Jessica decided to forego having a breeding operation, she decided to start riding Ellie and see how it went. Ellie is very trainable and a lovely mover with a big heart. Due to some physical restrictions from foaling, Jessica and the vet decided to limit Ellie’s career to the lower levels to keep her happy and in a job longer. She is currently leased out to one of Jessica’s students, Matty McKnight, and they are taking on the BN level together.
